Vegetation analysis for S.M.A.R.T decisions

Fugro’s innovative cloud-based vegetation analysis solutions use the latest artificial intelligence (AI) and remote sensing technology to provide crucial data for strategic planning. We carry out a region-wide risk analysis that includes tree detection (ITD), tree species identification (TSI), and fall-in risk scenarios.

 Lidar and RGB near-infrared imagery are collected using integrated sensor systems, mounted on helicopters, fixed wing aircraft or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The collected data are post processed with high positional accuracy using state-of-the-art registration methods that require limited to zero ground truthing with the resulting data ingested to Sense.Lidar™, Fugro’s automatic point cloud classifier, to create accurate vegetation insights.
