UN Ocean Conference 2022
27 June - 1 July 2022   |   Lisbon, Portugal

The ocean covers 70 % of the Earth’s surface and supports nearly every aspect of our lives. The United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030) aims to fill the sizeable gaps that exist in ocean data, information and knowledge.

As the world’s foremost Geo-data specialist, Fugro is leading the private sector in support of this global initiative. We are especially focused on improving the way ocean data is coordinated, accessed and shared, a theme we’ll address throughout the conference.

“It is critical that the private sector help lead this global initiative.
We collectively have much to offer and gain from a sustainable and equitable ocean economy.”

Mark Heine, Fugro CEO
