On the Agenda
An approach to estimate time to friction loss in pavement ME for the Florida concrete test road
10 January, 10:15am ET
Local calibration of the fatigue cracking model used in the AASHTO Pavement ME software is critical to accurately predicting the performance of Jointed Plain Concrete Pavement (JPCP). This paper proposes an approach for estimating the time to friction loss for JPCP based on the relationship between effective thickness and pavement age determined with Falling Weight Deflectometer data (FWD).
Key Benefits
Condition monitoring and evaluation for roads and highways
The effective management and maintenance of highway infrastructure is fundamentally linked to knowledge of asset attributes and condition.
Integrated approach to data collection
ARANs are equipped with a variety of instruments, like GPRs, that collect an array of data types in a single pass.
